Harrisonville Missouri Ministerial Alliance
OUR STORY
The Harrisonville Ministerial Alliance exists in order to encourage unity in the Bride of Christ (His Church) in Harrisonville, Missouri. Its membership consists of pastors and laypeople from fifteen congregations in and around Harrisonville. The alliance promotes mutual support, respect, counsel, and encouragement among its members and seeks to be a witness to Christ's power to the community while providing a united voice on important community issues. The alliance also exists to serve the underprivileged people of Harrisonville in order to bring honor to Christ's name.
Established over forty years ago, alliance members openly confess that "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God" (Peter's confession of faith in Matthew 16:13-17). It is first and foremost a fellowship of pastors, not a group of churches. Alliance members represent their respective congregations and communicate information about alliance activities and upcoming events to their congregations.
The alliance is served by an administrator who facilitates its benevolence ministries at the Harrisonville Thrift Store and Shepherd's Staff Food Pantry. Low-cost clothing, free food and emergency financial assistance are provided to the residents of Harrisonville and its surrounding area through the ministries of the alliance.
